Imam
In 2003, i performed my Hajj. During the day of Wukuf i remember that i pray to Allah swt that one day i want to be an Imam and become a khatib for Friday prayers. Many years have passed and i have almost forgotten what i have wished for on that day.
In 2019, Chairman of my surau, Hj Shafik nominate and register my name with JAIS (State Religious Dept) to become an Imam and given the approval to read the Khutbah (sermon) during Friday prayers. It comes as a blessing but it comes 16 years after i made my wish to Allah swt.
